This is the kind of day that makes you wish that you had a little boat
and could wander along the marshes,
spying on blue herons, and green herons and egrets,
maybe run into Ratty and Mole from The Wind In The Willows,
having tea in one of the coves,
taking time for simple pleasures,
as clouds drift by.

and then this!

Not even a month ago,
the crescent moon kept company with Venus and Jupiter for awhile.
The two planets are now in our blind spot and the moon,
well the moon has been all over the sky since then!
The movement of the stars and planets marks the march of time in our lives,
better perhaps than our fancy phones and digital calendars,
or even our wrinkles!
It's a daily, being in the moment kind of thing,
noticing the movements of the stars.
The crescent moon and Venus and even Jupiter is in the shot, in the evening sky of July 18th, this year!
