If the only real time is the present, and the future is only a worry and the past a goodbye, then why does it feel like a rushing stream when we look back or when we worry about all that we want to do? The moon is full one night and before we know it, it is a waning crescent and what happened on the days in between? Do we remember?

And yet, when we can slow down enough to enjoy the moment, the present moment, it seems as though time stands still – that time is a luxury that we can swim in and walk around in. That is the best relationship that we can have with time. To see it as expansive and here-now. To see time as our friend, inviting us to be. Just be.

Flowers know all about time and seasons and gracefully transition from seedling to flower to seed, all with a sunny smile!

So interesting. Yesterday I was thinking life is like a plant. Seeds are embryos; sprouts = youth, flower is when we come of age; emitting pheromones to attract pollination = flirting; full bloom= our best years and old age = fading flowers. I was placing myself in the cycle of a flower not only have I gone to seed, but am just about ready for the compost. 💐🌾😆🤟🏻
