Reflection, May Street Landing, St. Augustine.
The basics:
a book,
a banana,
and
a bottle!
Plus,
a friendly dragon,
and a cool lunch bag,
and one more –
a walk in the park with a wee one!
Life is still good!
Water is the architect of much of our world.
Beaches are rearranged daily by oceans and tides.
Snow is rained upon, melts, and refreezes in amazingly similar ways.
And this wonderful creature spends all of her time in water
and the lines along her body are
a lot like the sandy beach above.

In the past I was in the habit of visiting the Astronomy Picture of the Day
each night before I shut off my computer for some wonderfulness to end the day.

I suppose all fathers love their daughters (and sons) just as much,
and would show them in beautiful ways if they could.
I suppose, in truth, we all love each other just as much, some days!
It's a beautiful, elegant memorial of a father's love and loss.

There's a lot of information packed into those bulbs –
information and beauty and wonder.
With all the snow up north,
the daffodills will be smiling so brightly when they bloom!
It's the Nitrogen in the snow that nourishes their roots and the earth.
Spring will be spectacular.
