    Nights of lights 20014 blog

    The band plays,

    the lights are lit,

    the season officially begins.

    But first,

    let's give Thanks,

    not just on Thursday,

    but all week,

    and the next week,

    and then the next week.

    I know,

    you already do!

    Heart 11.11

    A piece of grass,

    indented into the sand,

did the tide move it over just so,

    or

    was it the wind,

or did it jump out of its

    indentiture

    to make heart

    art?

    A lovely find,

no matter how it came to be!

    Our first really cold morning

provides a dramatic black and white sunrise sky.

    Sometimes there is drama,

    sometimes not.

    What can you do?

The conga line, so fun to watch,

as the pelicans surf through wave after wave after wave,

    on their way to where?

The next wave, the next fish, a good night's sleep?

    Who really knows?

But these playful birds are definitely onto something!

    or

    Now, you promised,

    you won't tell anyone, EVER.

Perhaps when we feel alone and fearful,

    we truly aren't so alone.

Angels have been part of our imagination for a long, long time.

Maybe there is a reason for that?

At best there is some comfort

in believing that we are all being looked after somehow,

    by beautiful, benevolent, winged angels!

If you miss a double rainbow,

but a really good friend sends you her wonderful photo of it,

then maybe you didn't entirely miss it,

even though you did miss it!

Anyway, so grateful for friends who see and share!

Double rainbow, November 10, 2014, thanks to Michelle Moore for seeing this in her front yard and sharing it with me!

    Blessings-in-disgse

An early morning thunderstorm left these beautiful clouds for the rising sun to shine upon.

May all the storms in our lives be blessings in disguise.
