The Schooner.
The setting sun.
The incoming tide.
A day ends.
Night begins.
St. Augustine inlet, the Schooner Freedom sailing in.
Heat lightening,
silent and beautiful.
Thunder followed, but no rain,
not the first night.
The rain came the second night,
finally.
The heat lightening looked a little like this, lighting up the clouds from within but with slashes of lightening bolts every now and then.
This shot was taken during the day, but darkened to look like night.
Water, the most yielding and the strongest of nature's wonders,
is a chameleon.
Reflecting the sky, it is all kinds of blue.
(all the bumps in the shot are turtles!)
Looking down it takes on the color of the sand and leaves and turtles!
