It used to be that when an older person was fumbling with their money
or credit card, having trouble getting things out of their wallet or purse,
that I thought they were going a little soft in the head.
Now that I am in their ranks
I know that the hands just don't work like they used to,
and sometimes they hurt.
So, patience in all things:
We who aren't like we used to be,
and
ye, who might not understand.
I find that Gluucosamine with MSM really does help!
One misty, moisty, morning,
when cloudy was the weather…

These solid, sturdy, dependable mountains,
remind me of the
wild, rolling ocean,
wave after wave after wave.
Except they are very much more grounded than the airy, watery ocean waves.

written years ago by Susan Sontag with a title similar to the title of this post.
Once you have finished that story
you discover that the author had never been to China after all!
Same thing here,
neither have I!
The China Pavillion at Epcot Center, Disney.
Susan Sontag's short story appeared in "I etcetera", from what I can glean doing a google search! If anyone knows otherwise, please let me know!

They're the wonderful Cedar Waxwings, coming through again!
Moments later…
In the top photo, you can see air plants as well as mistletoe and little flowers on this deciduous tree that is just leafing out.
Worrying…
It's quite a distraction…
and then,
well…
Wonder on the other hand,
it will lift you up and up and up!
(I wonder what I will worry about today?)
(I worry what I will wonder about tomorrow!)
Just wonderin'.
"Captain" is buried at Disney World and now rests in brine.
