  •     Often when I see the moon high in the sky, I am reminded of a balmy night in Baltimore City, when I was 19 or 20, and feeling very pleased with myself, sitting on the stoop of my very first apartment building.   The moon was shining above the tall buildings and trees…

  •     On considering the possibility of actual mermaids being discovered, what would be the most interesting thing that we could learn about our kin in the sea?   That they send their kids to the best underwater schools? That they work really hard to get a piece of the treasure that is hidden somewhere…

  •     A quick stop at the beach after yoga and there are dolphins gracefully travelling south, while the sun sets over the beach,     and the moon smiles…             St. Augustine Beach, it's good to be home.
