After watching a young girl staring up into this tree the night before this shot was taken,

and then hearing all kinds of wonderful owl sounds

coming and going,

I spied this pair of owl "babies"

in the hollow of a tall tree.

One of them trying to sleep,

and the other trying to make sense of me,

on a rainy morning

in St. Augustine.
