If this chunk of sand and rock and cement were frozen in time

would future archeologists, 10,000 years from now,

be captivated by it?

There is evidence of a critter with paws shaped like a human hand,

a possible humanoid footprint, with some kind of covering on the foot,

and the wear and tear of the tide coming and going –

all signs of vibrant life at the water's edge.

Isn't that person standing in front of you just as intriguing?
